Bathing ritual of Janabaha Dya (Seto Machhindranath) performed



A bathing ritual (Nhawa’n) of Janabaha Dya (Seto Machhindranath) was held on Sunday in Kel Twa (Kel Tole) of Ye’n (Kathmandu) following necessary rituals amid large participation of locals and worshippers. The ritual was also observed by Kumari – the living goddess from Ye’n Layeku (Kathmandu Durbar Square).

The ritual is performed for Janabahaa Dya Jatra (Seto Machhindranath Jatra) when the deity will be taken around old city of Kathmandu in a chariot.
